A few thoughts from our customers on “Baltimore Community Lending.”
“I didn’t know how I was going to get the money to start my business. Other banks said I didn’t have the credit score they needed and that I wasn’t going to be able to do this. Because of BCL I’m 26 years old, a year and a half out of college, and I’m an entrepreneur providing generational wealth for my family. Without BCL, I don’t know what I would be doing today.” – Kevin Antoine, owner, KWJW Distributors
“I first learned of Baltimore Community Lending (BCL) at the 2015 Baltimore City Vacants to Value Summit hosted at the convention center. BCL financed my first Baltimore deal in 2016. From that moment on I did not view our relationship as bank and client, but rather a strategic partnership. I can honestly say I am not certain that my company would be where it is today if not for BCL!” – Alex Aaron, North Bethel LLC
“BCL worked extensively with NR2C LLC to help us resolve some of the issues that we faced at one point like swapping some of our properties with Baltimore City. It would have been a daunting task if it wasn’t for BCL’s great staff who scheduled multiple meetings with City officials. Also BCL organized a meeting between their investors and BGE. It was a very helpful meeting that answered most of our questions with BGE. Not many lenders would go to that length. They’re extremely supportive and a great resource!” – Ukamaka Udeh, NR2C LLC
