Since its inception in 1989, BCL has sought to strengthen neighborhoods through flexible financing, leveraging nearly $220 million to produce over 4000 affordable homes and 450,000 square feet of commercial and community facility space. BCL recently expanded its lending products to include small businesses based on a recognition of community need and BCL’s capabilities amongst a variety of stakeholders throughout the city.
