POWER is a project designed to create effective and accessible ways to accelerate wealth-building in West Baltimore by investing in entrepreneurship, workforce training, and supporting Black and Latina women and developers to disrupt inequitable systems.
As a POWER partner, Baltimore Community Lending offers a Guidance Line of Credit for Black and Latinx small developers who need a committed source of funding. The financing supports projects to acquire and rehab properties in low-and moderate-income neighborhoods for homeownership outcomes.
