Established in 2017 by Founder and CEO Alex Aaron, Blank Slate is a Baltimore-based, minority-owned real estate firm offering comprehensive construction, development, and management services. The company specializing in revitalizing vacant historic properties and stabilizing distressed neighborhoods. The firm is committed to promoting economic development while preserving the existing community.
Blank Slate has developed and sold properties across Baltimore City neighborhoods including Broadway East, Greenmount West, Hollins Market, Mt. Vernon, Oliver, Park Heights, Pigtown, Reservoir Hill, Roland Park, and Seton Hill. Mr. Aaron is responsible for raising capital, guiding project vision and design as well as representing the company at community events and meetings.
Alex currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Baltimore Community Lending (BCL), is a board member of The Neighborhood Design Center, and a member of The Presidents Roundtable (PRT).
Mr. Aaron earned a B.B.A in Finance from Howard University and his Master’s in Real Estate and Infrastructure from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
