Brian S. Lyght

St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, Inc.

Brian serves as Executive Director of St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, where he leads a 30-person team and partners with the board and staff to set strategy, strengthen operations, and advance the organization’s mission. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, focused on organizational effectiveness, economic opportunity, and community impact.

Before joining St. Ambrose in 2026, Brian spent more than seven years as Chief Operating Officer of Center for Urban Families, overseeing finance, administration, human resources, research and evaluation, and program operations.

Earlier roles included positions at Casey Family Programs, the U.S. Department of Labor, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, Enterprise Community Partners, CoreStates Bank, and the Massachusetts Community Development Finance Corporation.

Brian began his career at PaineWebber, structuring tax-exempt bonds for affordable housing. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BBA from Hofstra University. He and his wife have two adult children.
